In light of the key role that it plays in economic and social development, air transportation is an ongoing and priority issue for the various regions of Québec. In fact, it is an essential issue in the case of isolated communities.
The air transportation measures that have been adopted by the government are aimed at facilitating travel for residents of remote and isolated regions, and contributing to the maintenance and development of regional airport facilities and air services.
